The Heist of Oz
The Heist of Oz started out as a character design school project. Jennifer Murillo, Venessa Alvarez, and I collaborated on this original idea. The goal was to make a reimagined fairytale and Jennifer suggested a "Wizard of Oz, but it was a heist movie." The characters on this page are the ones I was in charge of and a revised Dorothy.
The Heist of Oz: The Animatic
In another project, I had to make a storyboard. I needed something contained, simple and fun. Since I already had some character designs, I thought it would be fun to create a short animatic for The Heist of Oz. This project took three and a half weeks to make. My roommates and I voiced the characters. Special thanks to my brother Calvin Oury and my roommate Kiersten Wilborn for great voice acting.
